More than 2,500 children from low-income families will receive brand-new books after ACE Cash Express raised $6,758.17 for First Book during ACE’s annual Give a Little Campaign.

"We are proud to support First Book, and we are looking forward to the local book donations," said Geen Martindell, ACE region vice president. "Thank you to all of our generous customers who helped us raise this money."

First Book is a non-profit organization that provides access to books for children in need. To date, First Book has distributed more than 100 million books and educational resources to programs and schools serving children from low-income families throughout the United States and Canada.

"We are so appreciative of ACE for including us in their fundraiser," said Christine Kuznia, chair of First Book Denver Metro. "This donation will provide books to more than 2,500 children."

The Give a Little Campaign is an annual nationwide fundraiser which is providing more than $130,550 among local chapters of charities including Big Brothers Big Sisters, Back on My Feet, AdoptAClassroom.org, Boys and Girls Club, Girls Inc. and Junior Achievement.
