The tragic deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and others compel us to openly address the reality of the tragic consequences of racism. We are committed to a culture of justice and equality. As an organization, we embrace diversity and advocate for inclusion. Everyone has a responsibility and the opportunity to make a real difference. In order to bring about change – for our voices to be heard - we all must vote.
That’s why we are encouraging our customers to take action on the issues that are important to them in this election. Our Your Voice, Your Vote initiative brings awareness to the importance of voting in the communities we serve. The best way to make a difference in our communities is by electing government officials who truly represent all our voices. The ballots in every state will include not only the nation’s president, but mayors, judges, city council members, sheriffs, and others who make and enforce laws in our neighborhoods and across the country. The path to change in America is through the ballot.
The first step to that change is voter registration. Every voter must be registered before their voice can be heard. In our stores, online and through our emails, we are making it easy for our customers to register to vote by providing links to state voter registration sites.
Voting makes a difference, and everyone who visits our stores, website, and social media channels will be reminded that the key to change is Your Voice, Your Vote.
