ACE Cash Express Stores Raise $10,300 For Big Brothers Big Sisters
ACE Cash Express stores raised $10,300 for their local Big Brothers Big Sisters agency and as a result more children facing adversity in Ohio and other Midwestern states will be given the opportunity to receive one-on-one mentoring.
"It's a privilege to raise money for this organization," said Mark McCollum, region vice president of ACE Cash Express. "Thank you to our generous customers for making this campaign a success."
ACE raised the donation through its annual nationwide fundraiser, the Give a Little Campaign. Nationally, the campaign provides $130,550 to charities across the country. ACE associates then competed in the Big Brothers Big Sisters "Little Big Shot" 3-point shootout basketball tournament, a new national fundraiser debuting in Cleveland.
"Our agency is grateful to be included in ACE's Give a Little Campaign and we appreciate their support of our local event, Little Big Shot," said Lise Day, CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lorain County, OH. "Big Brothers Big Sisters values the opportunity to work with ACE's local store associates to make a difference for children in our community."
ACE Cash Express is a national partner with Big Brothers Big Sisters as part of ACE’s corporate-giving program, the ACE Community Fund. Since 2004, the ACE Community Fund has donated more than $7.3 million to charitable organizations throughout the nation. ACE focuses on organizations that help children, support education and promote financial literacy in the communities where ACE has stores.
