ACE Donates $29,293 to Teachers for School Supplies
In an effort to assist teachers, who spend an estimated $500 annually on school supplies, ACE Cash Express stores in Greater Seattle are providing funds for classroom materials to 78 local teachers after raising $29,293 during ACE's Give a Little Campaign.
"I'm thrilled to work for an employer that provides a platform for our employees to serve our local schools through our storefronts," said Jason Petteway, Region Vice President of ACE. "I'm very proud of the high level of passion from the Seattle region employees and customers."
During this fundraiser, ACE stores in Seattle partnered with AdoptAClassroom.org, an organization that funds teachers in order to purchase the classroom supplies and materials they need to do their job, to identify local classrooms in need of assistance purchasing school supplies.
"We join teachers in thanking the ACE Cash Express employees for their generous donation," said Bob Thacker, Executive Director of AdoptAClassroom.org. "Their efforts will help hundreds of students succeed in school."
This campaign is a national in-store fundraiser that supports charities that are chosen by ACE employees. This year's Give a Little Campaign raised more than $358,000 nationally for organizations across the country and is a part of ACE’s charitable-giving program, the ACE Community Fund. To date, the ACE Community Fund has donated more than $8.5 million to organizations across the nation.
