Register as a Tax Program Member
Anyone who prepares income tax returns for the public or works in a tax preparation office is eligible. Once you register on our Tax Program website, you can participate in two ways:
Referral Program
Refer your tax clients to ACE Cash Express to cash their tax refund check or tax refund debit card to earn a commission.
Lobby Pop-Up Program
Request a pop-up shop in an ACE store lobby for the entire tax season and access new potential clients.
About the Referral Program
Earning more money through the Referral Program is simple:
1. Register as a participant.
2. Refer your tax clients to ACE to cash their tax refund check or withdraw cash from their tax refund debit card.
3. Get paid!
How It Works
Tax Program Members provide their clients with a unique referral code that the client can use when they visit an ACE Cash Express location. When your referred client cashes a tax refund check or debit card at ACE using your code, you will earn a percentage commission from ACE's fee.
Refer Clients, Earn Commissions
Commissions are based on your selected payment method (check or direct deposit) and the volume of referrals that are fulfilled at ACE Cash Express. See the Terms and Conditions on the Tax Program website for more information. If you are paid by check, your commission rate is 5%. Direct deposit referral tiers are:
Platinum: 9% (201+ referrals)
Gold: 8% (101-200 referrals)
Silver: 7% (51-100 referrals)
Bronze: 6% (1-50 referrals)

$1,000 per store lobby (before 12-1-24) – save $1,500 off the regular rate!
$1,500 per store lobby (December 2024) – save $1,000 off the regular rate!
$2,500 per store lobby (after 1-1-25) – regular rate

During registration you will select either direct deposit or check payment. If you select direct deposit, ACE will pay you weekly. If you select check payment, ACE will send you one check after tax season is over that you should receive by July 1, 2025.
