To send or receive a money transfer, you'll need the following information:
Your full name as the sender
The recipient’s full name
The state or country where the recipient will pick up the cash

These limits aren’t always the same. They fluctuate based on market trends, security needs, and current laws and regulations, so the list of limits isn’t available.

Yes. In select countries, you can send money directly to a bank account or mobile wallet from the United States.
Most money transfers are ready for cash pickup within minutes after being sent. However, timing is subject to operating hours, the destination country, availability, local laws and regulations, and compliance requirements.
Yes, but only if the funds have not been collected by the receiver or deposited into the receiver’s account. To cancel a money transfer made at an ACE store, go back to that same location for assistance. You can also call MoneyGram® at 1-800-926-9400.
If you cancel a money transfer at the same ACE store the transaction was made, you will receive the refund in cash right away.
Please note: transactions cannot be canceled and refunded if the funds have been collected by the receiver or have already been deposited into a receiver’s account.
If you have minor edits for a money transfer (like correcting the receiver’s name), go back to the location where you made the transaction and ask an ACE store associate for assistance, or call MoneyGram® at 1-800-926-9400. Other changes typically require canceling and resending the transfer.
No. For security reasons, the receiver must collect their funds in the country you sent it to. If that’s not possible, please cancel the transaction and resend money to the new destination.
