ACE Supports the Boys and Girls Club With $14,352
ACE Cash Express employees in South and West Texas spent an afternoon playing basketball, helping with homework and making crafts with children at a local Boys and Girls Club, as a part of ACE’s annual Give a Little Campaign.
During this campaign, employees in South and West Texas raised $14,352 for their local chapters of the Boys and Girls Club and then spent an afternoon volunteering at the clubs.
"We are proud to support charitable organizations in our communities and will continue to do our best to give back," said Orlando Chapa, Region Vice President of ACE. "I want to thank our customers for their generous contributions and also thank our employees who worked hard to make this fundraiser successful."
The $14,352 donation is being distributed among the Boys and Girls Club of San Antonio, Austin, El Paso and San Marcos.
"The Boys and Girls Clubs of San Antonio are so appreciative of the ACE Cash Express employees who supported us during the Give a Little Campaign," said Angie Mock, CEO of the Boys and Girls Clubs of San Antonio. "Their partnership, through both volunteers and monetary donations, helps us continue to serve San Antonio's youth, especially those who need us most."
The Give a Little Campaign is a nationwide fundraiser that is providing more than $358,000 to charities across the country. This fundraiser is a part of ACE’s charitable-giving program, the ACE Community Fund, which has donated more than $8.5 million to impactful organizations since 2004.
