ACE Donates Over $62,000 to Provide Employment, Self-Sufficiency Resources for the Homeless in Dallas

ACE Cash Express donated a total of $62,242.25 to the Dallas-Fort Worth chapter of Back on My Feet, an organization benefiting those experiencing homelessness across the country.

This donation consists of $18,405.25, which was donated by customers in the Dallas-area through ACE’s annual Give A Little campaign, and $43,837.00 in corporate gifts.

“Back on My Feet continues to make a difference for those experiencing homelessness in Dallas by offering a program that results in employment and independent living, ” said Eric Norrington, Senior Vice President of Public Affairs at ACE. “We’re passionate about our involvement with Back on My Feet, and are proud to serve the organization.”

The Give A Little Campaign is an in-store fundraiser that supports charities across the nation chosen by ACE employees. Employees in the Dallas-area selected Back on My Feet because of its unique mission – to help individuals experiencing homelessness obtain employment and housing by first engaging them in running.

“We are extremely grateful for ACE Cash Express’ commitment to Back on My Feet and our members,” said Gina Parker, Executive Director of Back on My Feet Dallas-Fort Worth. “Their support enables Back on My Feet to serve more people experiencing homelessness in the Dallas-area and helps equip our members with the key fundamentals they need to reach their goals of financial stability and independence.”

In addition to the funds raised and donated to Back on My Feet, ACE employees also teach financial literacy to members of the Back on My Feet program. These courses, Paycheck & Banking Basics and Budget & Credit Basics, teach participants money management fundamentals.

ACE’s charitable giving program, The ACE Community Fund, is committed to empowering organizations that help children, provide education and promote financial literacy in the communities it serves. To date, the ACE Community Fund has donated more than $11 million to organizations across the nation.
