ACE Cash Express Raises Over $42,000 to Help the Homeless in Los Angeles Get Back on Their Feet

ACE Cash Express raised $42,235 in Greater Los Angeles for Back on My Feet, an organization combating homelessness. Back on My Feet’s mission is to restore confidence, strength and self-esteem in those who have lost these by helping them get jobs, homes, and a fresh new start.

“We are honored to work with Back on My Feet again this year through our Give A Little Campaign,” said Eric Norrington, Senior Vice President of Public Affairs at ACE Cash Express. “The dedication of our employees and customers uniting to raise funds for their communities shows their commitment towards making our society a better place.”

The Give A Little Campaign is a national in-store fundraiser that supports charities chosen by ACE Cash Express employees. This year, ACE Cash Express in Los Angeles chose Back on My Feet to help better equip individuals experiencing homelessness.

“Thank you to ACE Cash Express, your associates and customers. We are incredibly grateful for the ongoing support and appreciate being your organization of choice for the Give-A-Little Campaign,” said Kevin Mcquhae, Executive Director of Back on My Feet Greater Los Angeles. “We have seen the strength and dedication of your associates over the years and are proud to call each one of them a trusted partner in the ongoing work of revolutionizing how our society views and addresses homelessness. Together we will knowingly touch the lives of several hundred individuals, moving through our program in the Greater Los Angeles area this year, and thousands more we may never know.”

Nationally, the 2018 Give A Little Campaign provided more than $200,000 to charities across the country, including: AdoptAClassroom.org, Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, Autism Speaks, Back on My Feet, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Boys & Girls Club and Save the Children. This fundraiser is a part of ACE’s charitable-giving program, the ACE Community Fund, which has donated more than $12 million to organizations across the nation since its inception in 2004.
