ACE Promotes Financial Literacy and Job Readiness Through MenzFit

In support of communities where they have stores, ACE Cash Express has donated $10,000 to MenzFit, an organization which provides clothing assistance and financial literacy education to individuals seeking to enter the nation’s workforce. MenzFit’s primary mission is to ensure long-term gainful employment and financial fitness to low-income men in the Philadelphia, PA and Washington, DC areas.

“For a decade, we have enjoyed a wonderful partnership with ACE Cash Express,” says MenzFit’s Founder and President Rhonda Willingham. “We are very appreciative of the annual support that ACE has given our organization as we strive to help men to become financially fit.”

Founded in 2001, with offices in Washington, DC and Philadelphia, PA, MenzFit is a non-profit organization whose client base are veterans, terminated or laid-off workers, recent immigrants, recovering addicts, the disabled, homeless, ex-offenders and public assistance recipients who are entering the workforce.

“ACE is proud to support MenzFit in their mission to provide resources for those entering or re-entering the job market,” said Eric Norrington, SVP of Public Affairs at ACE. “Together we have helped hundreds of people advance their lives and careers through financial literacy and career preparation.”

MenzFit has been a partner of ACE Cash Express for 10 years as part of ACE’s corporate giving program, the ACE Community Fund. The ACE Community Fund is committed to empowering organizations that help children, provide education and promote financial literacy in the communities it serves. To date, the ACE Community Fund has donated more than $12 million to organizations across the nation.
